Any firearms sent to Trop Gun Shop from a private individual will be refused or sent back to the licensed FFL closest to that individual. The individual will then be responsible for making the arrangements through that FFL to get the firearm back and/or shipped to Trop correctly. No Exceptions!

We understand that you are excited to receive your purchase and are eagerly watching the tracking information for delivery. However, delivery confirmation does not mean your firearm is ready for pick-up. We need time to properly receive and process incoming transfers in compliance with state and federal laws. This process typically occurs within 2 business days; however, it can take longer depending on overall order volume. We will call and/or email you when your firearm is ready, so we ask that you please be patient and allow the process to work. All transfers are processed as fast as possible depending on current volume.

When coming in to pick-up your transfer, you will need to sign-in at our gun counter to initiate paperwork and undergo the background check. Depending on when you arrive, you may experience wait times based on the volume of customers in our store, as well as delays in the Pennsylvania Instant Check System (PICS). Our busiest times are typically Friday evenings and weekends. Please plan accordingly.

It is possible that the firearm you receive from another dealer or manufacturer does not meet your expectations upon pick-up. Failure to take possession of your delivered firearm(s) for any reason will result in a $99.99 fee per firearm to facilitate the shipping back to the seller. Note that we will ONLY ship the firearm(s). We will not submit any Claims or RMA paperwork on your behalf, nor will we correspond with the seller for you.

If you are doing a Private Party Transfer, meaning you are buying and/or selling a firearm to/from another private individual, both individuals must be in the store to complete the transfer. If the seller is out of state, or otherwise cannot come into the store, then they must ship the firearm through a licensed dealer.
